Being able to Praise and Thank Allaah تعالى is the ultimate blessing

Thanking Allaah for a blessing that He تعالى has given to us is in itself a blessing that many are deprived of:

﴿وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيَ الشَّكُورُ﴾

{But (only) few of My slaves are grateful.} [Surah Saba (34): 13]

Impermissibility of taking the Shahaadah on behalf of someone else

One cannot affirm what is in other people's heart except to judge them for their speech and actions

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

Indeed all praise is due to Allaah,
WE praise Him,
And WE seek His help,
And WE seek His forgiveness,
And WE seek refuge with Allaah from the evils of our souls and the mischief of our deeds.
Whoever He تعالى guides, then here is none to lead him astray,
And whomever He تعالى misleads, then there is no guide for him.
I [1] testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allaah,
and I testify that Muhammad is His Slave and His Messenger.

Tafseer: {And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein}

From the Tafaseer of Shaikh Ibn al-`Uthaymeen and Imaam Ibn Katheer

Allaah تعالى said:

{And indeed We have created man, and know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge).} [Surah Qaaf (50): 16]

Shaikh Ibn al-`Uthaymeen رحمه الله commented:

Allaah عز وجل, after providing proofs for His ability to resurrect (mankind), said: {And indeed We have created man}, meaning: We originated his creation and brought him into existence, and gave him intellect, and the ability to hear, see, think and speak to himself.

Ma`iyyah (معية: "Withness") of Allaah with His creation
[Removing the Doubts: Allaah being with His creation does not mean that He تعالى is everywhere]

The saying of Allaah

{Truly! Allaah is with As-Saabireen (the patient ones)} [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 153]

Shaikh Ibn al-`Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:

Meaning: this Ma`iyyah (معية: “Withness”) is a specific one because the Ma`iyyah of Allaah سبحانه وتعالى (with His creation) is of two types: a general type and a specific.

The Adhkaar: its Spiritual and Physical effects on a person.
(The Adhkaar: Food for Body & Soul)

Narrated `Alee رضي الله عنه: Faatimah رضي الله عنها went to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم complaining about the bad effect of the stone hand-mill on her hand. She heard that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم had received a few slave girls (as captives of war). But (when she came there) she did not find him, so she mentioned her problem to `Aaishah When the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم came, ‘Aaishah informed him about that. `Alee رضي الله عنه added: So the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم came to us when we had gone to bed. We wanted to get up (on his arrival) but he صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Stay where you are.” Then he came and sat between me and her and I felt the coldness of his feet on my abdomen. He صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Shall I direct you to something better than what you have requested? When you go to bed say سبحان الله (Subhaan Allaah) thirty-three times, الحمد لله (al-hamdulillaah) thirty three times, and الله أكبر (Allaahu Akbar) thirty four times, for that is better for you than a servant.”
