Based on the work of the noble Shaikh al-Albaanee رحمه الله“Silsilatu al-Ahaadeeth al-Saheehah”

45) From Jaabir bin `Abdullaah رضي الله عنه that when he صلى الله عليه وسلم used to walk, his Companions would walk ahead of him and would leave the rear for the angels.

46) Anas رضي الله عنه reported that Allaah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم had a very fair complexion and (the drops) of his perspiration shone like pearls, and when he walked he walked inclining forward, and I never touched brocade and silk (and found it) as soft as the softness of the palm of Allaah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم and I never smelt musk or ambergris and found its fragrance as sweet as the fragrance of Allaah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم.

[Saheeh Muslim (5760)]

47) `Alee bin Abee Taalib رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم had a large head and large eyes. When he walked, he bent forward as if he was walking up a hill. When he turned around, he turned completely.

[al-Adab al-Mufrad (1315) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

48) From `Abdullaah bin `Amr رضي الله عنه who said: “The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم was asked which of the people are best. He صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Every person with a makhmoom heart, and every person with a truthful tongue.” So they said: “We know what a person with a truthful tongue is but who is the one with the makhmoom heart?” He صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “The (heart) that is pious and pure, with no sin in it, or transgression (injustice) or envy.”

[Ibn Maajah (4216) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Saheehah (948)]

49) From Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Allaah تبارك وتعالى said: “Pride is my upper garment and Majesty is my lower garment, so whoever disputes with Me regarding either of them, I will throw him in the Fire.”

[“Musnad” of Imaam Ahmad (2/248) and graded as “Saheeh as per the condition of Imaam Muslim” by Shaikh al-Albaanee in al-Saheehah (541)]

50) Narrated `Abdullaah bin `Umar رضي الله عنهما: Allaah's Apostle صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whoever drags his clothes (on the ground) out of pride and arrogance, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.”

[Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (5783) and Saheeh Muslim (3894)]

51) Narrated Ibn `Umar رضي الله عنهما: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “While a man was walking, dragging his dress with pride, he was caused to be swallowed by the earth and will go on sinking in it till the Day of Resurrection.”

[Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (3845, 5790)]

52) Narrated `Abdullaah ibn Mas`ood: The Apostle of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “He who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride shall not enter Paradise.” A person said: “Verily a person loves that his dress should be fine and his shoes should be fine.” He صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Verily, Allaah is Graceful and He loves Grace. Pride is disdaining the truth (out of self-conceit) and contempt for the people.”

[Saheeh Muslim (134)]
